Materials
Not much materials are needed for my experiment. I'll need to use a bike and some self control to keep myself from driving on Saturdays and Sundays for the sake of my experiment. I also will need a notebook to log the days that I do not drive, because there may be days where I will absolutely need to drive on Saturday or Sunday.

    Methods
On the night of each Sunday for my experiment I'll tally up the number of miles that I would have driven if I were to drive on Saturday and Sunday.

Control Group: 600lbs (300lb/days(10miles/day) x 2days(Saturday and Sunday)) will be used as a marker for how much lbs of Co2 would have been released if I were to drive.

Experiment Group: How many miles I actually traveled without driving. I can calculate that easily with Google maps to see the distance that I travel for each location that I go to on Saturdays and Sundays.

I will compare how much Co2 was actually saved to how much Co2 would have been released.
